Stoughton House Fire

On the afternoon of Saturday, February 18th, a destructive four-alarm fire started in the basement of a Stoughton family’s home. Witnesses reported seeing the smoke from the fire from several miles away and it took 50 to 60 firefighters to the scene before the fire was put out.
While the Dansby family (mom, dad, two children, aged 10 and 16) and one dog escaped with their lives, they lost their other dog and everything they own. They are currently staying in a hotel close to the children’s school so we can get them back and forth, while we try to figure out next steps.
