Dr. Ashley Sam

Dr. Ashley Sam

Dr. Ashley Sam did her general pediatrics training at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX where she trained alongside physicians and other healthcare professionals from all service branches. At the completion of her residency, she was selected to continue her training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital where she is currently a third-year fellow.

In the summer of 2024, after completion of her training, she will be going to her next duty station to serve as a pediatric intensivist and work on USAF Critical Care Air Transport Teams.

Ashley is running the Boston Marathon for Team Fisher House of Boston. Fisher House Boston’s mission is to provide a home away from home where military families can stay, free of charge, while loved a one is receiving in-house treatment at any of our world-renowned medical centers in Boston. She is a perfect fit with her dual background in the military as well as medicine; but the greatest fit is that she often cares for our families in her role at Boston Children’s Hospital (where about 40% of our families receive care).

On Monday, December 4th, Chick-fil-A and The Greg Hill Foundation awarded Ashley a Chick-fil-A brand package including free Chick-fil-A for one year and $5,000 to her Boston Marathon Fundraiser for Team Fisher House of Boston. In addition, Chick-fil-A held their Brownies for A Cause campaign to benefit The Fisher House of Boston and donated $16,000 to them.
