Ray Keefe and his family started Polar Plunging back in 2008 to bring their community together for a family in need. From just two people plunging in the inaugural year, the Keefe Family Polar Plunge has evolved to hundreds of people plunging and donating each year. According to Ray, the Polar Plunge philosophy is not just the raising of much-needed funds for someone in need, but the outpouring of support and love from those that the family knows and those that they don’t.
On Wednesday, April 24th, Chick-fil-A and The Greg Hill Foundation will be awarding Ray with a Chick-fil-A prize pack including Chick-fil-A for the year and $2,000 to the Keefe Family Polar Plunge after completing their 16th Plunge last month.
The Greg Hill Foundation responds to immediate requests for assistance, to improve the lives of local families touched by tragedy, through matching the charitable donation of Greg’s media audience.
