Zach Galvin was diagnosed with Stage IV hodgkin’s lymphoma back in 1996 and now celebrates his recovery annually with two selfless traditions. On the anniversary of his last cancer treatment, he declared this day as Yahoo Day. Zach performs a random act of kindness each year and challenges his friends and family to do the same.
To date, Zach has walked 25 marathons and 2023 is no different with marathon number 26 coming up. He pledged $1,000,000 to the Jimmy Fund and this year he and his team, Zach’s Pack, are within reach of his goal to help make more survivors in the fight against cancer.
On Thursday, June 1st, 2023, Chick-fil-A and The Greg Hill Foundation Awarded Zach a Chick-fil-A brand package including one year of free Chick-fil-A and $10,000 towards his cause, Zach’s Pack, and his goal of $1,000,000 towards the Jimmy Fund.
The Greg Hill Foundation responds to immediate requests for assistance, to improve the lives of local families touched by tragedy, through matching the charitable donation of Greg’s media audience.
